Anyhow, I'll return some day when these two babies of mine grow a little bit more independent and decide they no longer need all of my attention. Until then, you can still follow me on my new adventure as a SAHM on my YouTube and Instagram as mentioned above.
Wow! It's been 2 years since I've updated this website. Since then, I've become a Mom to another child, Ruby. She's been the apple of my eye and a real Sass to keep up with. She's like the do-over of me and I couldn't have asked for anything else! As you can see, I've been real busy and have since decided to sell all of my camera gear and stall this photography gig for the time being. Don't get me wrong- I'm always photo-journaling my adventures as a Mom on my social media sites on YouTube (MamaSue Plus Two) and on Instagram (@mamasueplustwo) and I'll always have a passion for photography. It's just at the time being, I am fully devoting my life to these two amazing little humans that take up so much of my time and attention. I don't mind though. They do grow up way too fast. My oldest just turned 3 this June and I'm sitting in a corner crying myself to sleep every night because of it (Okay, maybe not every night).
Anyhow, I'll return some day when these two babies of mine grow a little bit more independent and decide they no longer need all of my attention. Until then, you can still follow me on my new adventure as a SAHM on my YouTube and Instagram as mentioned above.

A couple months ago, I was lucky enough to photograph Bao and Noah for a maternity session and happily agreed to photograph their daughter once she came into this world. Baby Nina was only 7 days old when I met her and she has the most adorable little smirky smile ever! She has the most gorgeous head of hair and looks just like her Daddy. I'm so happy for the parents!
If you recall from one of my earlier posts, I've always been the bargain shopper/DIYer. So, you can bet that I was pretty excited when I came across this bag at the mall and on clearance for $15 bucks! I knew immediately that it would be perfect as a stylish camera bag! What I did for the padding on the one side for my lens is use the one that was in my Lowepro bag. And there you have it! Instead of spending $300 plus on a camera bag, I saved a ton by doing this!
Over the weekend, we were invited to attend and photograph a baby shower of friends of ours. Bao and Noah are a match made in heaven already. They are both outgoing and genuinely generous people. They will be welcoming a baby girl in March so I took this opportunity to shoot a few photos of their baby shower and a few maternity pictures of Bao. While editing these photos, it made me miss my pregnant belly and having a baby inside. I am hoping to get pregnant again this year and crossing my fingers for a little girl this time. They are so much easier to shop for and I couldn't resist buying baby Nina all the adorable outfits I came across while shopping for Anakin. Haha... if you like what you see and are expecting soon, I encourage to contact me to set up a maternity session. What a great way to document your growing, precious baby.

Ten years in the making... welcome baby Anakin to the world!

Nothing speaks louder than coming across a client's Facebook page and seeing your photograph as their cover or their profile picture. Thank you for a wonderful, fun-filled 2012! I am looking forward to another great year.
It has certainly been a few weeks in between posts and although I can say it hasn't been all too busy, I've been enjoying every moment of my quiet surroundings. Last weekend, I was asked to be a second Photographer for a wedding in Waupaca. I am always looking to expand my portfolio and quite honestly... I LOVE weddings - mostly in part because I never had my dream wedding. I did 5 years of planning but, in the end, my husband and I did a quick vow exchange at the City Hall and called it a day. So, I love weddings because I get to imagine that I'm the Bride and that this would be the shot I'd want to include in my wedding album. That's why I strive so hard to deliver photos that not only captures each couple's character, but also to tell their wedding day story. Here are a few photos I shot at this fun, laid-back wedding as a second photographer. You can view more pictures from this wedding in the gallery.
